Thanks for creating the forum. Much better to have all info in one place.
Does anyone have any idea on player budgets for the new season or which clubs are making a go of it this year?

Only 2 signings for Chorley so far not expecting to be up there if I am honest, lack of funds as usual is the problem.

Player budgets are a closely guarded secret and are rarely in the public domain. Expect full timers Kiddy Harriers and AFC Fylde right at the top with Boston United right behind them. Brackley are a traditional play off club but not sure how they will react to some of their senior players leaving. how strong will Lynn be?

My team (Scarborough) have made a couple of signings but it looks like we’re going to be mostly sticking with the players who got us promoted. Hard to predict how we will do but most of our fans will be happy with a season of consolidation.
We may well have reached the highest level we can sustain as a fans-owned club. I doubt our playing budget is comparable to the top teams. However, currently our finances are in very good order and last week the club announced we had already sold over 600 season tickets which is not too bad at all (how many season tickets do other clubs in the National North usually sell?).
Most of our fans are just happy to be back at the same level the old Scarborough F.C. club was when it went bust. Plus we’re planning to develop the stadium further with improved away facilities and additional terracing in the away end which will increase our ground capacity substantially from it’s current 3,000 limit.
So exciting times for Boro fans but none of us expect to be challenging for promotion.
